Issue
In cases where you are getting the unable to populate select error you may need to enable compatibility settings within your browser. this will also affect your ability to generate a user list in InSight.

Resolution
In order to resolve this error use the following steps:
- Go to Internet Explorer, (it does not matter if you are logged into InSight at this time)
- Go to the upper right corner and click on the settings gear and choose the compatibility View Settings option
- Add the IP of your Flex server into the field
(localhost is a placeholder in this case, your server will likely already be in the field but in the case that it isn't you can go to your Flex client and check in About Flex or check with your Flex Administrator)
- Close your browser window, open a new window (to apply the settings you just put in) and log back into InSight.
- You should no longer be getting the unable to populate select error, and should be able to see user lists in insight
On Windows 11 you no longer have access to Internet Explorer, so you can use the following workaround.
- Open Edge, and click the 3 dots at the top left corner, and open Settings.
- Search for "Compatibility" using the settings search.
- Set Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode (IE mode) to Allow
- Go back to the admin page, and you should now see an option when you open the 3 dots menu once again to "Reload in Internet Explorer mode"
