How to install Wave Dispatch Services on a User's Personal Computer (PC)

Resolution
A Dispatch Plug-in is required to sign in and access the Dispatch.
The steps to install the Wave Dispatch Plugin are outlined in the WAVE PTX R11.2 Dispatch User Guide on Page 38, Chapter 4, Titled "Dispatch Plug-in".

4.1 - Install Dispatch Plug-in
Install Dispatch Plug-in on your windows PC to use the Dispatch.
4.1.1 - Installing Dispatch Plug-in
When and where to use: To Install Dispatch Plug-in, follow these steps:
Procedure:
1 Enter the sign-in credentials and click Sign in.
On sign-in, dispatch asks you to install Dispatcher Plug-in and add Dispatcher Plug-in extension to
the browser.
In your Chrome browser, follow these steps:
An Add Chrome Extension pop-up block displays.
2 Click Add Extension to add the Dispatcher Plug-in extension to your chrome browser.
If you do not want to add the extension, click Cancel to cancel.
3 Clicking Cancel shows an error message Chrome extension is required to rune
application. Please install and add extension. Plug-in is downloaded to
your system. Please install plug-in. You have to close the browser and
reopen to sign in.
4 Clicking on Add Extension opens a new tab that adds the Dispatcher Plug-in extension to the
chrome browser. At the same time, the Dispatcher Plug-in file download starts.
5 Click Add to Chrome. An “Add Dispatcher Plug-in” pop-up block opens.
6 Click Add extension.

7 A success message displays.

NOTE: Make sure that you do not use the browser in “Incognito mode” of the chrome when
accessing the Dispatch for the first time.
4.1.2 - Checking the Add-On Settings for Plug-In
When and where to use: To check the add-on settings, do the following:
Procedure:
1 In the Internet Explorer, click the Settings icon.
2 Select the Manage add on options.
3 In the Manage Add On window, check the status of the “Dispatch Plug-in.”
If the Plug-in status is disabled, right-click and change the status to enable.
Run the installer file once downloaded or saved to the local PC.

4 Click the Finish
