Customer is trying to read a radio that has older firmware, for example R2.5

XPR radios cannot be read in CPS 2.0 while firmware version is R2.5 also cannot upgrade the radio with the newer firmware (2.10.10) which may give the same error 678

MOTOTRBO CPS 2.0 does not support radio firmware 2.4 and older. Please use CPS 16 build 828 to upgrade to R2.9 firmware version, once the firmware is upgrade to R2.9 you can use CPS 2.0 to upgrade firmware release R2.10 and above.
