What is a TDFM or TFM radio? How are they programmed?
Answer
The TDFM is a product made by Technisonic that incorporates multiple radios into a single chassis with a common interface. There are several models of TDFM, that incorporate different models and quantities of radios.
Because the radios inside the TDFM can be Motorola APX radios, those radios are programmed using APX Customer Programming software (CPS) and support for the general configuration and programming of the radios is provided by Motorola Solutions via the standard support methods for APX products.
