APX mobile display shows: "TIB Not Supported" after remote mount conversion
Issue
A functioning APX mobile becomes inoperable because of incompatible hardware after a conversion from dash to remote.
Environment
APX mobile dash to remote mount conversion.
Resolution
- If incompatible hardware is discovered, then "TIB Not Supported" would appear such as using an AN model TIB with a BN model number, and vice versa.
- Likely, the incorrect retofit kit was used, and the correct dash to remote mount retrofit conversion kit would need to be ordered.
