The hosted Vigilant PlateSearch 7.0 servers are scheduled to be updated with new user and administrative features

to allow for the improved management of LPR data. We will be deploying a series of updates that enhance the user

interface, expand our analytical tool offerings, and introduce best practices into our Vigilant PlateSearch security. Here

THE LATEST VIGILANT CLIENTPORTAL 7.0.195 HAS THE FOLLOWING USER IMPACTED IMPROVEMENTS AND FIXES:

 

1. Searching by Vehicle’s Color [LRN-28119] (Figures 1-3)

 

• Vigilant PlateSearch has been updated to allow searching for vehicles based on color. This search will be limited to a 90 day search period while we expand our color matching to new detections and historical detections.

 

 

• Below image has the new information field, “Color,” added in the first column but Vigilant users can customize their views using the “Customize View” on the bottom.

2. Dark or Light Mode [LRN-27636] (Figures 4-6) 

• Vigilant PlateSearch has been updated to provide users the option to view Vigilant PlateSearch in Dark and Light mode.

 

• Instructions for Vigilant users to change user interface to dark or light mode:

1. Log into Vigilant LEARN with your user account.

2. Click on “PlateSearch.”

3. Click on “My Profile.”

4. Scroll all the way down till see “Navigation Management” and change your view at “Mode Style.”

 

 

3. Alternating Row Colors [LRN-27639] (Figures 7-9) 

• Vigilant PlateSearch result view has been updated to provide alternating row colors for better viewing of records.

 

 

4. Reason for Login Failures [LRN-19656] (Figure 10)

• Login tracking, under Vigilant PlateSearch’s auditing page, has been updated.

 

 

5. Stakeout Custom Geozone Limitation [LRN-17103] (Figure 11)

 

• To provide faster search results, Vigilant Stakeout now will have a limitation on custom geozone while searching in Stakeout. When the drawn geozone is over the limit, Vigilant users will receive a warning message to adjust the geozone.

 

6. Excessive Parking Enforcement Alerts [LRN-27090] (Figure 12)

• New Vigilant Parking Enforcement feature allows being alerted when there are excessive parking enforcement hits on the same vehicle.

 

 

7. New Case Button [LRN-27638] (Figure 13)

• New Case button has been brought back and available for Vigilant users click on and create new case number.

 

8. Camera Systems in Density Map [LRN-18414] (Figures 14-15)

• Vigilant Density Map has been updated to allow viewing of detections or hits by camera systems now and not Vigilant users.

 

9. Additional Fields for HotPlate API [LRN-27051]

 

• Added new fields for management of hotplate distribution and alerting.

10. L6Q Camera System [LRN-28042, LRN-27052] (Figures 7-9)

 

• New L6Q API Web Services for:

- Management of camera systems. Includes the adding, editing and reading of camera systems within the user’s agency.

- Uploading of camera health status information. Includes but not limited to; location, battery status, errors, etc.

- Uploading of detections to LEARN.

 

THE LATEST VIGILANT PLATESEARCH 7.0.195 HAS THE FOLLOWING USER IMPACTED IMPROVEMENTS AND FIXES:

 

• Resolve an issue in Batch PlateSearch where it was returning more detection results even when the Vigilant user set a limit. LRN-26977

• Remove searching with “Previous Hot List” and any hot lists that were unshared. LRN-27312

• Corrected an issue where the full camera name was not showing up in reports. LRN-27559

• Resolve an issue with auditing not showing hot list sources correctly due to a query. LRN-27873

• Apply Vigilant PlateSearch TAS Alert Management configuration matrix to Vigilant CarDetector Fixed camera systems. LRN-27341

• Adjusted workflow such that CDM/CDF proxy users can distribute hot lists and generate prioritized hits but not view hot lists. LRN-27327

• Vigilant CarDetector Fixed will now sync white list based on camera location and not just camera system. LRN-27342

• Updated Vigilant Parking Enforcement TAS’s web services to cache data to provide faster hit queries. LRN-27303/LRN-27497

• Optimize databases tables by removing unused fields. LRN-27217

• Vigilant LEARN has updated error codes when providing to Vigilant CarDetector reason why the user failed login. LRN-27593
