OVERVIEW

The hosted Vigilant ClientPortal servers are scheduled to be updated with new features and modifications for Users and Site Managers to improve LPR data management. These updates enhance the user interface, expand our analytical tool offerings, and introduce security best practices.

 

NEW UI FEATURES AND MODIFICATIONS

Vigilant ClientPortal has the following new features and enhancements:

 

Filter Applied Alerts by Agencies, Systems, Users [VCP-8824]

Users who select to receive alerts from only certain Agencies, Systems, or Users will now have these filters properly applied for Parking Enforcement alerts similar to Hotlist alerts.

 

Privacy Footers and Cookie Statements [VCP-9107]

The following new footers have been added to the ClientPortal login page:

● Privacy Statement

● Cookie Preferences

● Your California Privacy Choices

 

 

Excessive Detection Monitoring for Hit Record Detail [VCP-9229]

The Hit Record Detail page will now display the Excessive Detection Monitoring alerting conditions in the Rule Set pane, if set for the Location that generated the hit.

 

● PDF reports containing Excessive Detection data are now titled Previous Detection Data instead of Excessive Detection Previous Detection Data.

 

IMPROVEMENTS AND BUG FIXES

Vigilant ClientPortal has been updated to include the following improvements and fixes:

● ClientPortal will now create audit records for alerts sent to Mobile Companion. [VCP-8810]

● To avoid confusion, the Digital Chalking Grace Period feature has been hidden as it is not yet available in CDM 6.5. [VCP-9402]

● An option has been added to allow Site Managers to enable or disable the ability of User accounts to view/modify cameras in Mobile Companion. [VCP-9038]

● The Accuracy Threshold setting can now be edited through the L6Q Settings API. [VCP-8727]

● Improved the DataTicket Integration API service to include vehicle Make, Model (Body Type), and Color values. [VCP-9420]

● In all locations where Minimum Speed or Speed is displayed, the term Approximate Speed (mph) will instead be used. [VCP-9171]

● Added support for non-integer location IDs to the HonkMobile Integration API. [VCP-9205]
