Activating Windows 10 Systems without Internet Connectivity
May need to be performed after a CPR of a Windows 10 console.
1. Launch an Administrative Command Prompt.
2. Type slui 4 (This will bring up the offline activation)
3. Under "pick your country" , select: United States. Click Next.
4. You will then see the activation digits on the screen.
5. Access the Self Service activation website (this can be done from your smart phone) by calling the phone number provided. Follow the prompts to enter the Installation ID. You will have the option to receive a text message with a link to complete the activation.
6. On the Microsoft Product Activation, choose “Windows”
7. Select “Windows 10”
8. Enter the Installation ID, then “Submit”
9. You will receive your confirmation ID, once entered you can click on “Continue” on the Microsoft site and “Activate Windows” from the Windows activation screen.
10. Click “Close” on the last screen of the Windows activation and “Yes” on the Microsoft site.
