Customer needs TAS Installed on a Computer

Environment

Resolution



1. Customer needs to download the TAS installer from the following link: https://get.vaasfiles.com/TAS4EXE

The installer will download in a ZIP folder. Download the folder to the Desktop if possible. If not possible, move the ZIP folder to the Desktop after download.

  1. Right Click on the folder and select “Extract All




  1. When the extraction process is complete, a File Explorer Window will appear

  1. To Run the installer, it is preferable to right click on the Installer App and select “Run As Administrator”. If this is not possible, double click the Installer App to run the installer





  1. On the following Pop Up Windows, in order, Select Yes

Click next to “I accept the Terms of the license agreement” and click Next

Check the box next to “Auto start up with Windows” and click Finish



  1. The TAS program should automatically open. If it does not, double click on the Desktop Icon to open TAS.

  1. It needs to be verified that the customer can connect TAS to either LEARN or Client Portal. To do this, first select the button “TAS Server”



  1. Select New Button



  1. In the Window “Add Source” that appears, the following information will need to be input

Connection Type = LEARN Server

TAS Server = Select if the customer will connect to LEARN NVLS, LEARN FL, or Client Portal

Connection Name = This can be named anything the customer wants

LEARN URL = This should be automatically filled in based on the input from the “TAS Server” selection

Username = This is the customer’s username for LEARN or Client Portal

Password = This is the customer’s passwordfor LEARN or Client Portal

Save Password = Use the slider until the color is blue

Select “Apply”

  1. After “Apply is selected, the customer will see the screen below. Click “Connect”
  2. If a Check Mark appears Under the column “ST” next to the entry created, the connection was successful. TAS has been successfully installed.
