Issue
1. The Juniper EX2300 switches within the system displayed communication alarms in the System Advisor.
2. These alarms indicated synchronization issues with the CMSS server, although the CAPMAX operation was not affected.
Environment
1. Juniper EX2300 switches
Resolution
1. It was identified that the communication alarm on the Juniper EX2300 switches was caused by the use of firmware newer than the recommended version.
2. To resolve the issue, the firmware of the Juniper EX2300 switches was downgraded to the recommended version.
3. The firmware downgrade enabled synchronization between the switches and the CMSS server, resolving the communication alarm.
