How to move VM from one Datastore to another

ESXi

Virtual Machine was stored on the wrong datastore and needs to be moved

Note: Server must be shutdown to move Virtual Machine

1. Log in to VMS ESXi

2. Navigate to Storage Tab

3. Select the datastore that is holding the Virtual Machine

4. Select "Datastore Browser"

5. Navigate to the VM you want to move

6. Select the directory of that VM

7. Select "Move"

8. Navigate to datastore you want to move the VM to

9. Select "Move"

10. Verify completion in the "Recent Tasks" window
