How to Fix when No Connection to Cellular Network


Symptom(s)

● Cellular status bar indicator shows connection failure ( ) or no connection ( )

● Cellular status bar indicator might also invalid SIM card ( )or missing SIM card ( )

● Home screen displays No Connection and a blinking red LED

 

Resolution

Steps to recovering when no connection to the cellular network.

 

1. Verify the main antenna is properly fasten.  

2. Verify the Cellular Status is Activated in the Device Management Page  

     * SIM-free SKUs will have Cellular Data Enabled = Off and Cellular Status = None

     * If Cellular Status = None, Error or stuck in Activating, contact customer support for assistance.

3. For BYO SIM device, if status bar indicator shows or , check if SIM card is inserted correctly in the right orientation.

4. If symptoms persist, capture logs manually and contact customer support to pull the logs remotely
