Mobile Video - DEMS - ELC/Cloudshare - Download/Export Speeds are Slow


Symptom(s)

Evidence Exports appear to be slow.

Issue

Evidence Exports appear to be slow.

Environment

VMELC and Cloudshare.

Resolution

You can enable parallel downloading on either chrome or edge by enabling the browser flags.

 
Chrome:
1) Paste "chrome://flags/#enable-parallel-downloading" in the chrome browser URL search bar.
2) You will see the flag highlight and there will be a drop down box to the right of the flag. Change the box from Default to enabled.
3) Relaunch the browser.
4) Refresh Evidence Library, you may also need to clear cache.
5) Attempt to redownload export.
 
Edge:
1) Paste "edge://flags/#enable-parallel-downloading" in the chrome browser URL search bar.
2) You will see the flag highlight and there will be a drop down box to the right of the flag. Change the box from Default to enabled.
3) Relaunch the browser.
4) Refresh Evidence Library, you may also need to clear cache.
5) Attempt to redownload export.
