Unable to select an audio source from ELWEB during playback.

The issue here is related to a problem where the Realtek driver impairs the agency's ability to correctly select the audio source.

Transfer Agent

In order to select the audio source from ELWEB you need to have the transfer agent installed. ELWEB communicates to the transfer agent to control the audio source on the machine using port 9031. When you install the transfer agent it should put an exception in the firewall for that port. Check that the transfer agent is installed and the firewall exception is in place before moving on to the step below.

Driver Issue

The issue here is related to an issue we have seen before where the Realtek driver causes an issue where the agency can't correctly select the audio source.  The way to fix this is to open the device manager, right click "Realtek(R) Audio"  and check the box that says "Delete the driver software for this device".  Once you have done that you need to restart the machine. The audio controller should automatically reappear and the audio selection should work.
