Issue
MikroTik Wireless radio will not connect. 4RE will not upload. Car will not connect to network. Wireless transfers fail. This issue will commonly occur when a MikroTik Groove is replaced with a newer one.

Environment
MikroTik SXT Access Points and/or MikroTik Groove wireless radios.
4RE and/or M500 In-Car DVR Systems.
Resolution
NOTE: Mikrotik Devices on firmware version 7.13 or higher will require an additional step to downgrade below 7.13.
Core Instructions:
- Log in to the MikroTik Groove using Winbox.
- Confirm the Factory Firmware
- This will be the earliest firmware version that the Mikrotik Device in question can be downgraded to.
- Factory Firmware can be found under System>RouterBOARD
- Also reference the "Current Firmware" field. If 7.13 or higher, please follow the steps under the "Firmware Version 7.13+ Extra Steps" header below before proceeding from here.
- Select Files.
- Select Upload and choose the firmware.
- Select New Terminal.
- Enter the following command:
- /system/package/downgrade
- The MikroTik device will reboot
- Select Files.
Firmware Version 7.13+ Extra Steps:
- Navigate to /system/packages
- In the Package List window that comes up, select the "wireless" row.
- With wireless selected, press the uninstall button.
- When the column reading "Scheduled" says "scheduled for uninstall" for the wireless row, reboot the Mikrotik Device.
- Once the device comes back up, proceed with Step 3 from the Core Instructions.
