Option Board Programming Instructions.

All Vertex Standard Radios

VME100 / VME-100

VMDE200 / VMDE-200

When installing or programming the VME-100/VMDE-200 option board, use the following procedure using the standard programming cables:

1)     Install the option board into the radio

2)     Read the radio with the regular programming software

3)     Set the “Signaling Type” to “Option”

4)     Set the “No.” to the type you wish to use

5)     Write the program back to the radio

6)     Turn the unit off and then put it into Sub-Clone mode, see chart below

7)     Open the CE73 software

8)     Read the board

9)     Program the options as desired

10)   Write the options back to the board

VX-410/-420:  [PTT]+ [Side 2] + Pwr on

VX-800:  [PTT]+ [Top Orange] + Pwr on

VX-600/-900:  [PTT]+ [Top Orange] + Pwr on

VX-920:  [PTT]+ [Top Orange] + Pwr on

VX-2100/2200:  [P3] + Pwr on

VX-3200/2500 Conv:  [A] + [P4] + Pwr on

VX-4000/5500/6000:  [PF] key (just below [q] button) + Pwr on
