Issue
When using MOTOTRBO Software (CPS or RM) and trying to read/write any device the software gives an error of "Codeplug version not supported"

Resolution
This error usually appears when the CPS/RM release is older than the device firmware release. Please ensure that you are running the latest version of MOTOTRBO CPS or RM.
Please also note that CPS 2.0 cannot read radios with a firmware older than R2.4. An attempt to do so can also result in a "Codeplug version not supported" error. For old devices that cannot be read using MOTOTRBO 2.0 software, a visit to depot will be required in order to install the latest firmware.
