APX Radio Transmits permit to talk tone over the air


Symptom(s)

Audible tone can be heard over the air.

Issue

Radios are transmitting Permit to Talk Tone over the air instead of being audible on the sending radio. 

Environment

APX Radio with R31.00.00 firmware. 

Resolution

Firmware release 2023.3 or newer will resolve his issue. 

Workaround is to disable Instant Recall in the codeplug by setting "Radio Wide" => "Features" => "Record Playback Audio Buffer Size (sec)" to "Disabled".
