How do I change my APX mobile O2 control head from dash to remote mount?

First determine the model of radio, for conversion kits the radio model is divided into 3 categories.  These models have different interfaces or chipsets requiring the correct part numbers to be selected in order to ensure compatibility.:

- APX 8500 Mid power units
- Classic ‘AN’ model APX4500, APX 6500 and all APX7500 Mid power models
- Enhanced ‘BN’ model APX 4500 and APX 6500 models.

In order to convert from dash to remote, a kit must be selected, which includes all the necessary parts: (TIB, CHIB, bracket, power cable, and a control cable/CAN cable), and a length must be chosen below:

Radio model kits (must match radio model):

H1920:  8500 Mid power
H1877:  Classic ‘AN’ 4500/6500 and all 7500
H1938:  Enhanced ‘BN’ 4500/6500
