Error

When trying to clone/write the codeplug/configuration of the radio with CPS 2.0 the following error message appears: " [#1008194] One or more Voice Announcement files could not be found".

The issue does not appear when trying to clone/write using CPS 16 (Legacy CPS)

Environment

MOTOTRBO

CPS 2.0

CLONE/WRITE radio codeplug/ configuration

Root Cause

CPS2.0

Voice announcement files are missing

For Legacy CPS upgrade to CPS 2.0 - Voice announcement files from CPS 16 are stored under a different location that voice announcement files for CPS 2.0., therefore some of the announcement files could not be found in the concerned local storage folder

Workaround/Fix

1. Enter the application log file  %programdata%\Motorola\MOTOTRBO CPS 2.0\Log  to check which voice announcement files were not found in the local storage.

Example, a fraction of the log: This means that "#9221 filename1.mva, #9221 filename2.mva " are missing from the folder.

[#1008194] One or more Voice Announcement files could not be found. Please consult the Log file.    <Exception>: Motorola.Common.LegacyCustomException.Cps2Exception  <Message>: [#1008194] CPS2_VA_Pack_Not_Found      The following voice announcement file(s) are not found in local storage folder:#9221 filename1.mva, #9221 filename2.mva

2. In the radio configuration, remove the files listed in the log from "Configuration>General>Voice Announcement" and retry to write/ clone the configuration.

If it's necessary to use the listed files, make sure that the files are under the path correct for CPS 2.0.:  C:\Program Files (x86)\Motorola\MOTOTRBO CPS 2.0\voiceannouncement
