Symptom(s)
Not able to connect more than 2 radios to the powered HUB, IP network conflict error
Issue
Not able to program more than 1 radio via USB
Environment
Radio management
Resolution
Each RM Device Programmer in the RM system can program up to 16 radios simultaneously. If
using a USB hub, ensure that it is a powered USB hub.
You must also change the subscriber / peer IP of every single radio. These are the IPs that are assigned to the subscriber and peer (computer / RM Client) when connected via USB. All radios by default are set with the subscriber address as 192.168.128.1 and the peer as 192.168.128.2. Since each connected radio has the same subscriber / peer address, it is only going to program one per connection. In order to program radios connected via USB simultaneously, each radio must have a unique Subscriber / Peer IP address, for example:
-Radio 1 Subscriber IP: 192.168.128.1 Peer IP: 192.168.128.2
-Radio 2: Subscriber IP: 192.168.129.1 Peer IP: 192.168.129.2
-Radio 3 Subscriber IP: 192.168.130.1 Peer IP: 192.168.130.2 Etc.
If you are configuring this in Radio Management, the Subscriber/Peer IP is configured in the Radio View
