How to properly connect MTM5500 or MTM800FuG ET to the iTM proxy or CPS to read/write codeplug and/or to perform upgrade/downgrade?
Answer
For Ethernet versions of mobile radios (MTM5500 and MTM800 FuG ET), the radio software version determines the method of proxy / CPS connection:
• For radio software version MR19 and above, connect the radio to the iTM Proxy / CPS from the front connector on the control head.
• For radio software version older than MR19, connect the radio to the iTM Proxy / CPS from the front connector on the control head and the rear connector of the transceiver.
