When attempting to write codeplug or firmware changes to an APX NEXT or APX N70 device, the programming software (RadioCentral/APX Radio Management/APX CPS) will display an error message and will fail to write.
The programming software will read the radio without issue.

Error messages displayed while trying to write a codeplug or firmware to a radio:

• RadioCentral: Fail: [#161004]Download Failed: Internal error
• Radio Management: [#10007] Failed to write device
• CPS: Application has encountered an error

Radio file system issue

APX NEXT series
APX N70

1) Download and run partitionfixinstaller.exe. This application must be run as an admin

2) The user will be presented with a standard pop up about acknowledging they are an authorized user

User will need to click "Ok" to allow drivers to install

3) When the app launches - it shows the work steps:

4) Wait approximately 20 sec to complete

5) Power cycle the device 

6) Disconnect the cable and the device is ready for normal programming operations

Note Partitionfix can be downloaded from the applicable portal (Customer Hub or Partner Hub).

Once logged in, validate applicable account is selected in the upper right side of the page

Next click Support Services > Software and Licensing

Select the applicable software and download by clicking on the 3 dots.
