The customer wants to be able to carry out a "Permanent Disable" or to "Kill" on radios from a RDT console which has RCM, but are unable to, they receive a "Radio Time Out" message when doing this. However, a Temporary Disable and DGNA do work, showing the radio is reachable.

This was also seen on a dedicated RCM.

The radios involved are Sepura STP9000, although it was not clear if this was a factor here.

The affected radios were not physically located in their home zone.

This issue was resolved by the customer/Sepura

It was identified that the STP9000's supplied had the wrong software version which resulted in the Kill command being rejected.
