User has forgotten their password to LEARN. Directions are included in this article for how a user can reset the password.

LEARN 7.0

If a user needs to reset their LEARN password:

1. Go to: https://learn-nvls.com/
2. Click on ‘Forgot Password?’

3. Enter your email address

4. Click ‘Reset Password'
5. A confirmation popup will appear that a link has been sent to your email address. Click ‘Ok’

6. Check your email in the inbox (and spam) folders for an email from  ‘no-reply@learn-nvls.com’ with a title of ‘Auto-Reset password’ 

Note: Example screenshot below is of a Gmail account, your email box may look different

7. Open the email and Click on the link to Reset your password

8. Enter your username, New password and Confirm the password

Note: The following password requirements are required for CJIS Compliance

Passwords shall

Be a minimum length of (12) characters.

Not be a dictionary word or proper name.

Not be the same as the Userid.

Expire within a maximum of (90) calendar days.

Not be identical to the previous ten (10) passwords.

Not be transmitted in the clear outside the secure location.

Not be displayed when entered.

The password requires a special character.

Example: !, ", #, $, %, &, ', (, ), *, +, -, ., /, :, <, =, >, ?, @, [, \, ], ^, _, `, {, |, }, ~

Click ‘Ok’ when finished

9. You will receive a pop up window confirmation that your password was successfully changed if password requirements are met. Click ‘Ok’
10. Go to: https://learn-nvls.com/ and login with your new password created
