Symptom(s)

APX Radio is inconsistent with the time the unit takes to fall back on (DVRS) channel
Issue
If a radio is programmed to do more than one fallback (channel 1 fallback to channel 2, and channel 2 fallback on channel 3) the first fallback takes approximately 10 seconds, every fallback after that takes approximately 60 seconds.
Environment
APX radio
DVRS (Digital Vehicular Repeater System)
Resolution
Works as designed.
The first Channel fallback = DVRS Network Status Reporting Interval (from the FRC) plus 5 seconds
The second Channel fallback = to give enough time to do the voice announcement approximately 60 seconds are provided
This decision is taken at the design level.
