Symptom(s)
Unable to program TSC B in a dual TSC MTS4 using both the available methods:-
a)export method (with the python script)
b) clicking on "program" button from DIMETRA Express WebNM
Issue
To verify:
1) Telnet to the TSC B
2) Inspect with software & firmware version by running this MMI command - .attrib
Note: When you run the python script (export method), it only detects TSC A ip addressing segment regardless the TSC status (either Active or Standby)

Workaround to program TSC B:
- Get the python script from DEX WebNM (by clicking on export button)
- Unzip the file (contains the python script - program_site.bat), and connect the laptop (that has this file), to TSC A service port.
- Program TSC A first (by running this file - program_site.bat) .
- Once the TSC A is completed, power off TSC A but leave the BRs (BR1,BR2,etc) powered on (i.e. only remove the power cable from the TSC A itself and not using the power on/off button on the power supply). Please refer to the image below.
- Disconnect the laptop from TSC A service port.
- Reconfigure the IP address of the laptop running the programming script to 10.0.254.100 segment.
- Connect to TSC B service port and rerun the program_site.bat. Note: There will be a “ping 10.0.253.1” ping timeout warning shown on the command prompt window, but that can be ignored)
- The site will go LST (local site trunking) mode.
- And TSC B will reboot once the program is complete. And now TSC B will hold the active status.
- Turn off TSC B.
- Connect back the power cable in TSC A. And you'll noticed TSC A has active status.
- Power off the MTS completely.
- Connect back the power to TSC B.
- Power up the MTS.
- Finally, inspect the software & firmware version in both the TSCs (A&B).
