Infinite key retention is greyed out in the APX radio codeplug


Symptom(s)

Users are unable to check the infinite key retention box under Secure Configuration > Secure Wide.

Infinite key retention is greyed out in the codeplug. 

Issue

The infinite key retention feature requires hardware encryption. Radios not capable of HW Encryption will show this field greyed out in the codeplug.

Resolution

Upgrade to a Hardware Encryption capable radio.
