Issue
Customer can't upload events via USB or BWC on a client machine.
Environment
Video Manager EL and Video Manager EL Cloud on client machine
Resolution
1.Once logged into Video Manager EL or EL Cloud, click on the Tools tab and then click Get Evidence Library Client.
2. Once the file has downloaded, locate the .Zip file in the downloads folder. Since it is a .zip file, it will first need to be extracted. Right click on the .zip file and choose extract all.
3.After "unzipping" the file, another window will open. Locate the WatchGuard Evidence Library Client file and right click on it and choose Run As Administrator to start the installation process.
4. After the executable has opened, click on Next.
5. The Prerequisites window will open. You do not need to change any of the settings, so click Next.
6. SQL Server Express will begin to install.
7. After SQL Server Express has completed its installation, the Setup window will open.
8. When the Evidence Library End User License Agreement window opens, choose I Accept the terms in the License Agreement.
9. Next, the Installation Folder window will open. You shouldn't need to change anything. Click Next.
10. The Agency Identity window will open. When installing on a client, choose Transfer Agent (USB upload) for client, choose Advanced Server Install for server/upload appliance - then click next.
11. Next, the Ready To Install window will open. Click Install
12. Let the install process and then click on Finish.
13. ***Note! After the installation is complete, make sure to open ADV Windows Defender and exlcude the Upload Service by finding the Upload Service, right click and choose properties, then select Allow.
