If there is a loss of power the Synology NAS backup unit will not power back on unless the option is enabled.

Log into the Synology NAS unit.

Go to Control Panel > Hardware and Power > Power Recovery  and select "Restart automatically when power supply issue is fixed" option and click Apply.

The NAS should restart automatically if there is a power loss event in the future.
