APX RM or CPS jobs fail when trying to read or write a radio and return error "Unable to enter program mode. Secondary Codeplug Activated" or "Multi-Codeplug feature is disabled!"

Radio does not have OTAP option G996 or OTAP is not enabled

Resolution

For cases where an OTAP job was scheduled on a radio that does not have the OTAP option or does not have OTAP enabled, this error message will incorrectly display.

The radio will need to have the OTAP option G996 purchased and enabled to clear the error.

A fix for the incorrect error message is planned in SR2025.1.

If the user receives this error and is not attempting to use OTAP, a case will need to be opened with TSO Astro Devices for investigation.
