Mobile Video - M500 - Display issue check list


Symptom(s)

Upon turning on the vehicle, the M500 boots up, and the power button lights up, but the display remains black.

Issue

The M500 display remains black after the initial boot-up, despite the power button lighting up.

Resolution

  1. Power cycle M500
  2. Reseat cables 
  3. Connect only the power harness cable and display cable to test if other inputs are causing interference
  4. Replace Display and/or cable
