1. Radio Management (RM) installation fails during SQL Server installation with the error The wizard was interrupted before APX Radio Management Suite could be installed.

2. Event Viewer > Windows Logs > System Logs show "The SQL Server (MOTORMSVR2) service failed to start due to the following error: The system cannot find the file specified"

3. SQL install logs indicate missing MSI files.

NOTE: Always backup the RM database from the RM Server Utility before proceeding. 

1. Run sfc /scannow from the command prompt to repair system files. This may need to be run several times to repair all files. See step 2 on the Microsoft support website.

2. Repair the existing SQL Server installation from Programs & Features / Installed Apps when possible.

3. If issues remain, delete any existing SQL Server versions from Programs & Features  / Installed Apps.

4. Reinstall Radio Management and the backup database once SQL Server is repaired and operational.
