Resolution
1. Download the latest firmware update package for the APX radio from the official Motorola Solutions website (Customer or Partner Hub).
2. Ensure that the necessary version CPS (Customer Programming Software), is installed on your computer. CPS Version must match FW version or newer.
3. Connect the APX radio to the computer using the appropriate programming cable.
4. Launch the APX CPS software (Verify no codeplugs are currently open).
5. Navigate to Refresh a Radio.
6. Select the downloaded firmware update package (.bbf file) on the PC and follow the on-screen instructions to begin the update process. Note: APX Next and N70 files should remain zipped (*.zip).
7. Wait for the update to complete, ensuring that the device remains connected during the process.
8. Once the radio reboots and Radio Software Refresh window is finished, verify that the firmware version on the radio matches the version of the update package.
