Scope/Context

- VideoManager EX

- V200 Smart Dock

Background/Details

- The smart dock was not connecting to the V200.

- LED indicators showed power and network as green, cloud as amber.

Outcome/Recommendation

- Load the generated CFG file with the .OK extension to the dock.

  • If the dock fails to connect, create and apply a reset configuration using a FAT32 USB.
  • - Ensure the USB does not contain any other files and is not a duplicate copy.
  • After running this reset configuration to the smart dock it will show in the devices tab as open and connected

- Remove IP addresses in the Webserver settings and set default to Any.

- Change HTTP/HTTPS ports to 9080/9082 respectively.

  • Adjust the public webserver port to 9080.

  • Configure the dock directly through the admin tab without a USB by clicking on the right arrow in the device screen ( screenshot below)

  • It will automatically reboot the dock. Verify that all lights turn green, indicating a successful connection.

For reference you can use this LED  status chart to help.  Connected and operational will be when all the lights are green  ( Power, Network and Video Manager)
